User Manual
DexView combines glucose, meal, medication, alert, and sync data into one dashboard. This guide covers the main workflow so new users can get productive quickly.
Create a DexView account with your email and password, then verify your email address.
After that, connect the Dexcom phone number or email and password you already use with Dexcom Clarity so DexView can pull the richer 30-day CSV-based history.
Once both checks pass, DexView starts your preview or activates your paid Core plan.
The top bar keeps the current glucose reading visible, lets you run a manual sync, and now groups everything else under compact menus.
The main dashboard shows glucose summaries, insulin and event counts, the full glucose chart, medication log, food log, alert history, system status, and the searchable event timeline.
Use the Monitoring Views toggle to switch between the normal dashboard and the analytics view.
Use the top-bar Logs menu to open the Food, Medication, or Event Bookmark dialogs directly without leaving the chart.
Food entries include date and time, description, estimated carbs, and optional notes. The food modal can also analyze a meal photo and prefill the form with an OpenAI-generated description and carb estimate.
Medication entries are stored with insulin type, medication name, dose, and notes. Event bookmarks let you tag notable spikes, lows, workouts, or unusual responses for later review.
Day Overlays compare recent days on a normalized 24-hour timeline.
Time-of-Day Patterns highlight which hours tend to run high, stay steady, or fall out of range.
Meal Impact now includes tolerance scores, daily summaries, and pattern cards so repeat foods can be compared quickly.
Settings control alert recipients, high and low thresholds, repeat timing, and background sync frequency.
Sync runs a manual refresh immediately. Data freshness and sync health in System Status help you confirm whether Share and Clarity data are current.
The alert log now separates provider acceptance from live delivery status when Twilio SMS data is available.
The Event Timeline combines meals, medication, alerts, sync activity, and bookmarks into one searchable list inside the current dashboard time window.
Use the Export menu in the top bar to download the timeline as CSV or a printable summary PDF.
For billing, account state, preview countdown, and optional health profile details such as age, sex, height, and weight, use the Account page.
